GoodNews was born in Barcelona in September 2020 (Covid-19), with the purpose of bringing back good vibes and reinventing traditional newsstands as meeting points. Since then, we have managed to bring our Good Vibes to more than 30 establishments, more than 2,000 homes and more than 100 offices in Barcelona, Madrid and Paris. And now our new challenge is to land in Amsterdam.

Our mission is to lead the coffee and functional beverage revolution in Europe, inspiring an optimistic, healthy, and sustainable lifestyle. We are constantly growing, and we are looking for authentic and positive people who share our values and goals. TASKS TO BE PERFORMED

• Customer service and loyalty, offering exceptional service and friendly, efficient customer care.
• Preparing coffee, matcha and other specialities in accordance with established quality standards.
• Communicating new products and promotions to customers.
• Applying cross-selling techniques and personalized suggestions to increase average ticket size.
• Opening and/or closing the point of sale.
• Keeping the point of sale clean, organized and in compliance with brand standards.
• Replenishing stock at the point of sale, ensuring the correct display of products according to brand guidelines and standards.
• Taking inventory of product stock. 
• Ensuring the correct calibration and basic maintenance of machinery.
• Learning and mastering new preparations each time new drinks or products are added to the menu.
• Know the varieties of coffee and other products we offer and be able to explain their characteristics.
• Knowing the allergens present in products and beverages to provide safe service to customers.
• Participate in events, collaborations or activations with other brands, representing GoodNews with a professional attitude and good vibes.
• Report incidents and areas for improvement.
• Promote a culture of respect, proactivity and collaboration within the team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in hospitality or similar position is preferred, but not mandatory. We value your passion and enthusiasm for coffee and customer service.
• Exceptional customer service skills: positive and friendly attitude, effective communication, sales orientation and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task efficiently and proactively.
• Oral fluency in English. Fluency in Dutch and Spanish is a plus.
• And above all, good vibes!

UIT TE VOEREN TAKEN

• Klantenservice en klantenbinding, uitzonderlijke service bieden en nieuwe producten en promoties communiceren. Word de maestro van de glimlach en tevredenheid!
• Bereiden van koffie, thee en andere specialiteiten volgens vastgestelde kwaliteitsnormen.
• De vestiging schoon en orderlijk houden.
• Openen en sluiten van het verkooppunt.
• Aanvullen van de voorraad bij het verkooppunt, zorgen voor een correcte presentatie van de producten.
• Rechtstreeks rapporteren aan de Area Manager.

EISEN

• Eerdere ervaring in de horeca of een vergelijkbare functie is een pré, maar niet verplicht. We waarderen je passie en enthousiasme voor koffie en klantenservice.
• Uitzonderlijke klantenservicevaardigheden: positieve en vriendelijke houding, effectieve communicatie, verkoopgerichtheid en het vermogen om onder druk te werken.
• Uitstekende organisatorische vaardigheden en het vermogen om efficiënt en proactief te multitasken.
• Goed gesproken Engels is een vereiste, vloeiend gesproken Nederlands en Spaans zijn een pré
• En bovenal: Good Vibes!
